Save the popcorn for when this thread goes south again.

We're all like a bunch of schoolboys kicking stones about on the playground while we wait for the bus to arrive. Obviously completely bored.  :Straight Face:

The problem with waiting for major Version changes is not so much the flight sim but in this case I suspect that there are a few add ons that are being held back from release until tested and V3 certified. Realair is one that comes to mind. I am looking forward to the updated P3d Duke Piston for one.

I'm at the point where I want to clean out some of my less than favorite add-ons, etc. usually, I just wipe the drive and reinstall everything that I want to keep. But I'm not about to do that and have to repeat with v3. So I'm just flying around areas that I don't visit too often just to enjoy the scenery.

Considering they have the info page almost ready to go, I suspect it won't be too long. Personally I'd rather they take the time to get the release as stable as possible rather than letting it out early with more than the usual amount of buglets.

Looks like John Venema was right again. I still dont know why people have such a hard time accepting the voice of reason with a inside track on the industry. I will enjoy "avatar" mode though.

Let me guess.... you want 64bit.

Yes, Indeed. Yes indeed.

I would have to see how I can make my AI Traffic to work.

Not sure why flight 1 is not updating their Ultimate traffic for P3D

Is Avatar mode really worth $60?

Exactly. Not impressed. Looks like a bunch of bug fixes for the 2.X version. I was really hoping that they would do something about the clouds and water (if you don't know what I'm talking about, then you have no worries). FSX is definitely staying on my drive.

If one ignores the lack of undercarriage, it's actually quite a nice landing.

In all fairness, it looks like far more than avatar mode. I also like how I was lampooned for admitting the likelihood that JV was right. "Ah, he's just bitter about having to update all of his installers." Right. Or he's a top developer in the industry, has/had a beta, and knows what he's talking about...

Is this the only thing you can bring up in every P3D topic? Very childish imo. This is a forum and everyone's entitled to their own opinion!

I think the intention was sarcasm, not an actual wishlist.
