September 21, 201510 yr The problem with waiting for major Version changes is not so much the flight sim but in this case I suspect that there are a few add ons that are being held back from release until tested and V3 certified. Realair is one that comes to mind. I am looking forward to the updated P3d Duke Piston for one. September 21, 201510 yr Moderator I'm at the point where I want to clean out some of my less than favorite add-ons, etc. usually, I just wipe the drive and reinstall everything that I want to keep. But I'm not about to do that and have to repeat with v3. So I'm just flying around areas that I don't visit too often just to enjoy the scenery. Considering they have the info page almost ready to go, I suspect it won't be too long. Personally I'd rather they take the time to get the release as stable as possible rather than letting it out early with more than the usual amount of buglets. September 29, 201510 yr Is Avatar mode really worth $60? Exactly. Not impressed. Looks like a bunch of bug fixes for the 2.X version. I was really hoping that they would do something about the clouds and water (if you don't know what I'm talking about, then you have no worries). FSX is definitely staying on my drive. Formerly Coneman - 900+ ___________________________________________________________ If one ignores the lack of undercarriage, it's actually quite a nice landing.
