My 'Return to Flight' flight!

Recommended Posts

This evening was my 'Return to Flight' flight, after an almost eight-month hiatus due to real-life events and a recent PC rebuild.

I flew the Icon A5 ('Firehawk' livery) from Pedro Bay (4K0) to Port Alsworth (TPO), two of my favorite destinations in Alaska because of their beautiful scenery and challenging off-the-grid runways. This flight reminded me of what an amazing piece of software 'Flight' is, and how much potential it has with addons and further development! I used 'majuh's' amazing 'Mixed Fair Weather Theme' addon.

I occasionally take quick jaunts, and am constantly reminded of how much potential the engine showed. Lets hope some of that resurfaces in Dovetails new effort.

Either way, I eagerly await any future developments for 'Flight'. (Perhaps it it something that you can reveal in a less cryptic way? :P In semaphore, perhaps?) My spirit's strong but my patience is weak; I've just recently gotten back into it, and I'm cosntantly reminded of what can still be achieved with 'Flight'.

That should be interesting.
