Why on earth would someone think that the "save" button would alter the scenery.cfg? The settings window clearely shows settings in the .cfg file.

Where does it clearly ( notice the spelling) state that on the GUI , and tell us exactly Mr.  genius?  Most people haven't memorized all the settings on the cfg file, maybe you have.  The things that it says it will change are related to sceneries.

Because the wording says "the tweaks will be applied globally to all P3D SCENERIES".

To someone intimately familiar with the internal workings of the sim, it may be obvious that those setting come from the main config file - and will be applied to the main config file, but to someone without that knowledge, I can see where to wording "will be applied globally to SCENERIES" could be confusing.

Dear friend, do NOT misunderstand me but, TWEAKS can only be applied in the .cfg file, not in a scenery.cfg file, that file just tells the FS witch files to load and in wihat order.  IMHO it is very important to understand how a simulator works BEFORE you start to do things that severely change the behavior of the sim. Also, IMHO, people should spend more time flying instead of doing things with the sim, that they have no clue about.
