Real Terra Haze 4

Does anybody here use real terra haze 4?

 

I'm looking for some realistic settings I could use? I find the 4 presets very garish!

 

Any help would be much appreciated!

I tried it but then deleted it because it cost me too many fps. Also it made the runway lights look like the blurry FSX lights and I think the stock X Plane runway lights look much better and more realistic than bloomed blurry ones. 

 

Maybe the program can leave the runway lights stock?

sounds like your lights are too high for some reason. Try to dial down the "Lights intensity" value (it sits on top of the "LOAD" label) or that failing, open the lights control and try to dial those down.

 

Trust me, I wrote the damn thing.

Also,

 

you could just delete the 4 RTH_prefs_[...].txt files altogether and start with a clean slate. Or manually reset every value.

Ok, So I have deleted the pref files and I am in clean slate mode.

 

Does anybody have any good preferences as to what they use?

The latest but I guess you could use them in earlier versions.

Sorry RTH was 3.2b , got the 4.2b and it is not working on this one.

Yeah, no worries. I have disabled it for now. 10.40 seems to have improved atmospheric effects unless that's just me....?!
