Hi mark.

Do you find it kinda sticky when banking left or right aileron and when you return the ACE Yoke back to neutral the NGX is still slightly in a bank?

A very nice purchase I hope?

How is your set up developing out of interest, are you buying (or hoping to buy) lots of replica hardware, or are you sticking with the 3D cockpits?

Yeh love it just the annoying bank prob won't get this with Prosim A etc.

Its all very nice! Got a custom built NG cockpit from FlyByCockpits and getting all my hardware from FDS.

Hi, hmm I can't say that I experience that with the yoke, at least when it comes to banking. A few Springs snapped in the base (which can easily be replaced, they're just tension Springs) which seems to leave the yoke a bit loose for pitch. In other words, it stays unmoved through a few degrees of pitch motion, rather than returning to the same center every time I release it. But as for bank, it always returns to the center

I'll Try explain a bit better lol the ace yoke pretty much does go back to the centre but its the NGX yoke that doesn't go back to the centre. Never had this problem with my 50 pound saitek yoke lol

Using FSUIPC i played about with settings but it seems to be the yoke or the ngx

I do own one, but mine is 6 years old already so I guess there had been a revision or two in between.

Anyway, no issues with mine, works perfectly fine with all PMDG birds.

Cheers,

Markus

I have a Precision Flight Control column yoke from flypfc.com, had it for a while and it is still great. It is not Hall effect, wish it was. Newer ones are, but over time the springs lose their tightness if you will. I simply created a bigger center position using fsuipc.

Using Min, Center, Max, I made a deadzone by applying ever so light left roll and right roll and pressing the center button so those values were saved in fsuipc. Now no matter what i do to the yoke, if I let it go and it springs to center it always centers in sim. I also quite like the heaviness, since I only fly tubeliners its perfect. My ambidextrous joystick is off to the left for airbus flights.
