CH Pro Pedals

Recommended Posts

Guest Zooker

I am having trouble with my rudder pedals with regards to breaking. The toe breaks, with the slightest movement engage the brakes, and even sometimes when I dont even have my foot on the pedals, they engage the breaks.I have downloaded the CH Control Manager to help fix the problem. I have been unsuccesful. Either I dont know how to work the program, or it is something else, I have no clue.Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance,Jake

Hi Jake,You have to make sure that the control assignments are set and then the sensitivities are the big problem here. With Flightsim running, go to OPTIONS - CONTROLS - ASSIGNMENTS. You will come to a menu that looks like this:http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/85690.jpgI have the USB CH Pro Pedals as well and this is how I have it set up. Make sure you click OK to keep your settingsNow go to OPTIONS - CONTROLS - SENSITIVITIES. http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/85691.jpgClick on the ADVANCED button and make sure the brake sensitivities are at max. Click OK to save.Cheers,JohnBoeing 727/737 & Lockheed C-130/L-100 Mechanichttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/ng_driver.jpg

I had also a problem with those pedals toe brakes and PMDG 737 - the autobrake disarmed after a slight touch of the brakes after landing and its extremely uncomfortable to turn the autobrakes on again and watch your feet when slowing the plane down. But I never thought about the Nullzone!! I will look at it as soon as I can.

On the topic of CH Products, I just went to their stand here at Oskosh and checked out their new throttle. It's been a long time coming now but the guy there said it should be out in two weeks now. I'm gonna try pursuade them to sell one of those they have at the stand to me crying about how looooong it will take until they arrive on the shelves in Finland! :)

Just got mine this afternoon and had the exact same problem. Brake would come on if you blew air on it and wouldn't go off. I kept decreasing the sensitivity trying to fix it. Turned it up to max after reading your post, and all is well. :)
