HELP!Couldn't start FSX anymore after upgrade of GPU

I have an issue these days and really frustrated coz my fsx cannot even start after I press the button as usual. It load first of all with the start screen and then immediate disappear. I don't know whether it is a CTD/ fatal error issue or not.It has no report from the event viewer.

The above problem starts when I upgrade my GPU from GTX 560 to GTX 970.

16GB RAM

550W

1TB HHD

 

FSX Gold edition

Nvidia driver 355.98

It's a system file that caused the crash (wbemprox.dll).  According to the Internet, reinstall your video card drivers and make sure you do it as the System Administrator.  You should also make sure you started up FSX as the Administrator.

 

If this does not work, move your fsx.cfg to a temp folder and restart FSX and let the config rebuild.

It has no any changes though I did install/uninstall nvidia driver and delete fsx.cfg for rebuild many times.

FYI, I have seldom an error report with also no fatal error

 

Any other ideas?

The driver is part of the Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI).  Sounds like something got corrupted.  Run the scanner to see if you have any corrupted or missing files - https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/929833

 

I want to make it perfectly clear, your problem is NOT FSX but your computer system.

 

If no corrupted or missing files are found, then you will have to reinstall Windows and then FSX and all of your addons.
