Prepar3d V3 and My Traffic 6

I have uploaded a new version of the fix that includes the CRJ200. Please redownload. Silly me, I had fixed the issue but somehow forgot to include it in the zip. Sorry about that folks.

Just reinstall on top of the old one.

  • Ok, here goes ...  First you need to add the AI aircraft to the sim. You do that by adding the path to the MT6 aircraft folder to P3D "simobjects.cfg", in the same way that the configurator does for

error=file "xlmflap.wav" not found

David, I have not been able to replicate the "xlmflap.wav" issue.

Could you please confirm if you have the file on your system, in the location specified below?

"[MyTraffic]\Aircraft\CRJ7MX\sound\xlmflap.wav"

TIA

Sort of off topic but will someone tell me if MT6 has Allegiant and Spirit Airlines?

Thanks Penz and Exodus - it was just user error, I'd left out a word and didn't pick it til I went through all the steps again as described in your posts.

So I can confirm that MT6 works with absolutely no problems for me, and the 3-step procedure to make it work really shouldn't be difficult!

Jason, I am trying out FSDT KDFW at the moment, and noticed an Allegiant jet, so yeah - that airline is in.

For everyone,I'd recommend a busy payware airport +MT6 and then try avatar mode standing next to the active!

It great to fix these parsing errors, but they do not affect P3d in any way. If you don't want to see them, turn error logging off. Burk keeps correcting these duplicate entries, but every time he adds more aircraft and liveries, more seem to show up.

At work today Penz will report tonight, thanks

SOD it late to work

I added sound file to the soundai folder so just droped the sound file you did in there. and the new CRJ200.

only a few GA airplanes at FSDT KJFK 2 with no airlines??

For some reason, I found a folder with in a folder (F:\MyTraffic Professional\MyTraffic\MyTraffic).

My first tries were all pointing to the first MyTraffic (did not work), pointed it to the later and worked like a charm.

Thanks for all the help in this thread.

That's not good to hear Ali, but I'm sure we can get it fixed.

The symptoms point to the path you entered in "simobjects.cfg" - please check that it points to the folder where the MT6 AI aircraft are.

It great to fix these parsing errors, but they do not affect P3d in any way. If you don't want to see them, turn error logging off.

I thought long about whether or not to respond to this, but I will Jay, because I disagree.

You see, thing is, even with no error logging at all, each and every one of these non-critical errors represent a tiny unnecessary processing overhead.

Consider this situation:

Somewhere in memory is the data structure that contains "AI aircraft within the bubble data". FS reads this data from the "aircraft.cfg" files. During read, it encounters duplicate data. Even if the programmed response is "ignore" (as was previously the case!), the data will still get read, and trigger the programmed (non-) action.

We are of course only talking fractions of milliseconds, but it's still processing time that could be put to better use elsewhere.

At least that's how I see it. I prefer logging the errors and try to fix them, or (ideally, lol ...) get somebody else to do it.

If you encounter any errors, just report them here or on the MT forums and we'll try to fix them.
