Mindstar GNS 430/530 Installation in Prepar3D v3

Recommended Posts

Ed,

Thanks for being patient with me wanting status updates.  I was really anxious to get the update for v3 as I was a recent purchaser of the GNS530 and wanted to get it installed in my planes.  I fly a Bonanza BE35 and have the 530 in the panel so I use the sim for maintaining proficiency.

Will this work with the recently released v3.1?  I won't update Prepar3D until I know that it will work.

Thanks again,

John

John,

It should work fine. Please don't assume because someone's having an issue in 3.1 that it's a problem for everyone.

Rob,

To be clear, you copied the entire FSX C172 folder (not a Mindstar product) over from FSX to Prepar3D? If so... we're talking only popup windows.

Not assuming anything.  I hadn't looked at these forums to see if it was compatible.
