Are you noticing any preceivable improvments in performance/presentation with the v1.3 on Prepar3D v3? Version 3's release notes seemed to imply that more of the particle handling was moved to the GPU to free up the CPU.

Hey Elaine,  rain and snow replacements alone make it worth it.

Particle system does seem improved, but be warned that SGSS AA still has a hard time when particles saturate.

Cheers, Rob.

Yes its great alright.

Rob,  Does this mean it is hard on the system (Computer)?   Or it has a bad effect on the actual visuals of the rain and snow (takes away the effect)

It means that if you use SGSS AA (via nVidia Inspector) it will be hard on the framerate. So if PrecipitFX shows a lot of rain and snow, performance may drop quite a bit. It has no effect on the actual visuals.

Thank you Jeroen, i'm going to hire you as my Robulator to translate what Rob says

A few people mentioned this already,  but the little default Carenado Bonanza really is a lovely little plane, the VC looks fantstic,  love that rough sounding engine.  Just tipping along today in the Bonanza + Precipit and ASN,  fantastic stuff altogether
