I had to reference that video to enter avatar mode -- CTRL-SHIFT E -- would be nice if there was a built in menu option. 

 

Does anyone have a commercial pilot avatar (flying an airbus here) for use?

I was able to use the Avatar in the NGX. I am not sure of what is going on with the 777.

There's an invisible box around both the ngx and T7 that stops you getting to close. With the Bonanza, the avatar only detects a collision when you actually walk into the wing.

 

Still great for walking around the pmdg birds, but would be great if you could turn collision detection off.

In regards to the CTD when walking around the 777 I read on the FSDreamteam forums that using Avatar mode with GSX enabled will produce a CTD. I will try to verify this when I land in Sydney in the next few minutes.

Confirmed. The Avatar mode works fine on my install when not running GSX. I am sure they will issue a fix soon as they aware of it.

Saw this at AirDaily and seems the "invisible box" can be removed.  Looks to be able to walk down stairs.

It's supposedly been fixed with a recent live update, but I haven't had a chance to confirm that.
