Looks stunning but I'm a bit unclear as to what exactly Edge is. Does it change the look of the default map / environment for users or is it more along the lines of an SDK change for devs?

It's mainly changes to the graphics engine. It adds things like atmospheric scattering, different bloom and sun glare effects, and much more. It's a free update and it looks ultra realistic, especially in motion!

Hello,Thank you all for your nice comments,I should clarify some things.

EDGE is available as an "Openbeta"their will be bugs.You can download The DCS World 1.5 beta through my link above.

These screenshots do not do it justice,Long gone is that Old sterile Atmosphere of "The Lock On" Graphics engine.

The EDGE DCS World feels very "Alive" and Realistic.Give it a try,You have nothing to lose but Hard Drive space :smile:
