October 3, 201510 yr Hello Everyone, I reinstalled my P3D V3 today then installed my B777 and didn't ask me for the activation kep. Not sure what I did wrong. I read the readme file in the PMDG B777 folder and followed the instructions to run the SimConnect and still didn't ask me. Any one knows what I'm doing wrong? Also, as soon as I close my P3D, I get an error log. Here is the info inside the folder. I have the feeling it has something to do with my registration key. Any help will be greatly appreciated. October 3, 201510 yr Commercial Member Pablo- The error logging process created by lockheed martin is flawed. It creates a HUGE number of false positives, and provides information that isn't relevant to users. We recommend you turn it off, unless/until they fix it to make it cooperate with the normal standards for dll iterations. On your activation: If you previously had the 777 installed for P3D, it won't ask you to activate again when you upgrade to P3D v3. It is smart enough to know you are already activated. If you reinstalled windows- that would be different. Also- since we are running through some basic troubleshooting: make sure you read through the README section related to simconnect. If you didn't previously have FSX installed on this machine and operating system- follow those instructions! Robert S. October 3, 201510 yr Author Hello Mr. Randazzo, Thank you for taking the time to respond to my posting. I wasn't sure if I did something wrong installing my P3D V3 and my PMDG products. I will do as you suggested to turn off the error logging. I did have the V2.5 installed in my computer and both my 777 and 737 worked flawlessly. I also have FSX installed and both my planes work great there too. One thing I have noticed is a "Fatal error" that happened twice When I try to run my P3D. Not sure if it's my ASN or not. Still trying to figure that one out. Anyhow, I will submit a ticket through the PMDG website if I have any other problems. Again, thank you for the response. Kind regards, Pablo Vazquez Pablo Vazquez - Flight Attendant - Major US Airline (P3D v4.3, PMDG 744v3, PMDG 748, PMDG 777, PMDG 737 NGX, QualityWings 787, Captain Sim 757, Aerosoft Airbus Professional and FSLabs A320x)

October 3, 201510 yr Author Hello Robert, It looks like all is working fine with both airplanes (777 & 737) and P3DV3 but I am getting the famous "A Fatal Error Occurred. Windows is checking for a solution to the problem." when I close my P3D. I still think is has something to do with ASN or FSUIPC... Not sure. Any thoughts? October 3, 201510 yr Commercial Member Pablo, 1. Go to the start menu and type "problem" into the search box - click "Choose how to report problems" when it appears as a search result. 2. Select the third option "Each time a problem occurs, ask me before checking for solutions" and press OK. 3. Now reproduce the crash and this time when the window pops up, there should be a small arrow at the bottom, press it and it will show you the detailed crash information. 4. Click in the detailed area and press Ctrl+C to copy the data. Paste it into a reply with Ctrl+V. Ryan MaziarzFor fastest support, please submit a ticket at http://support.precisionmanuals.com

October 5, 201510 yr Author Hello Robert and Ryan, Thank you for your help. I just got off the phone with Jetliner Systems and Greg helped me troubleshoot my system. It looks like there was a problem with my registry and some P3D v2.5 files that were left behind when I uninstalled it, so he cleaned my registry and removed those files. He also updated the FSUIPC with the newest one that was released today (05OCT). I just finished testing two flights and NO problems at all. It looks like my issue was fixed. I will keep you updated and let you know if I have any other problems. Thank you again for your help. You are amazing. Take care and have a great week!
