Ifly 737 in P3Dv3 . Anyone has succeeded ?

Featured Replies

F1 has announced that it will take a while before they are going to take a look at it,

Installing /copying the 737 into P3Dv3 leads to black displays and no working switches, buttons, rotaries.

The engines are working however and manually the plane can be flown.

PMDG advised for their aircraft to install all simconnect versions....

Anyone of you has succeeded in getting it to work in v3 ?

Hi Gerard,

I didn't try to install or port the iFly yet, so I don't know if it's working, but I'm also very interested if it will work!

Like you I also own the CBE and I'm very disappointed that they will not update it for V3  , because it's the base software for my homecockpit.

(I know it's not because they don't want to, but I'm disappointed anyway)

Unfortunately they didn't tell much about why it will not work. So I assume it's not only the change of folders.

Let's wait for an answer and I will also look into it on the weekend.

Was reading over at the official forums that both the 737 and 747v2 wont work in v3 yet sadly. The 747v2 will be the first to be patched as well but it has no ETA yet.

I was wondering if making mlinks could help.

In that way one could let the aircraft stay in P3Dv2 and if the gauges would look for the P3Dv2 exe file they would find it....

Together we could try...

At the moment I am having my former Project Magenta running in v3. Better looking flightdisplays but not all hardware is supported...

Using hard-links was the thing I also thought about   Unfortunately I had no time to try this at the weekend

As it seems they will not longer support the CBE for P3D in the future I was thinking about switching to ProSim anyway.

I'll come back here if I have some news...

Maybe it's worth trying the Estonia Migration Tool for that purpose, but therefore I would have to deinstall the iFly from 2.5 first ...and I don't want to do this right now :P

As far as I can see it the gauges need to be upgraded to the new SDK standard to be able to work in v3.

Nothing I tried made the gauges work.
