Installing P3D v3 on my FSX PC

Recommended Posts

I have a question:

My PC has a Win7 OS dedicated SSD, a fully installed FSX on another SSD and now I wish to add a separate SSD with P3D v3.

There are some addons and programs which use folders both on the OS SSD and the FSX one, or just point the FSX (and also appear listed as software in the Windows list).

Can I install all the updated versions of those addons and programs over what I have and this time point them to the P3D, or do I have to Uninstall them first (which will downgrade my FSX installation)?

Appreciate your advice,

Moshe

It really depends on each individual addon. Some might work that way and some not. Some might have licensing issues, prohibiting installation in both, etc.

You can ask specifically and if someone knows for sure you'll get a response but I'd think the individual developer is the one to ask to be sure.
