Starting from Interlaken the route is 205nm with 7 landings (5 grass - 1 gravel - 2 asphalt) and finishes at a private strip where permission has been obtained to land and a virtual glass of the local red will be served.

 

Choose your favorite aircraft.

 

Recommended scenery

 

Orbx - Australia (Set Region to Oceania

Pilots should have OZx (updated through v3.4) installed as well as OZx libraries (v1.0 and v1.1). You can get all the OZx sceneries here

 

A Flight Plan is available here.    Roger will provide the commentary on-line, it is rumored to be “brilliant.”

 

Date and time: Saturday 24 October, 1800 UTC

Where: AVSIM RTWR Teamspeak - Casual Flights Channel

Teamspeak Server Address: ts.teamavsim.com

Multiplayer: FSX Multiplayer (IP will be provided on Teamspeak)

Looking forward to it, Gents.  Is last week's advice to bring a STOL aircraft still valid?  What kind is recommended in any case?

 looking @ the flight plan there is only one airstrip that is tricky, therefore the choice of aircraft is yours.

Umm...this flight plan appears to start at Wynyard and ends up at Interlaken, not the other way around.

looks like i will be able to join in tomorrow...and have solved the microphone debacle.
