P3D v3 freeze when switching between apps

Hi

 

Recently installed P3d v3 and have come across a problem.  When I switch to another program, say ASN or something P3d seems to freeze.  It can be fixed by resetting the flight and I can proceed as I was but the minute I click on another application it does it again.

 

Anyone else having this issue or know why it does and if there is a fix?

You sure you don't have Pause on Task Switch checked?

haha this could actually be my problem as I have the new feature of notifications turned off so no little red bars telling me the sim is paused.

 

I will go double check this but i am pretty sure by default this option is ticked.

tested and it was pausing when changing apps, thanks for bringing it to my attention

I have unchecked the "Pause on Task" box and Prepar3D still pauses when I move to a different screen.  Is there anything else I can do?
