They have left this out of the install docs

go into the aircraft folder     Carenado 406_Caravan_II     and find the file

F1GTN750F406II.exe

and run it.

to reverse this run the file

CAR530F406II.exe

enjoy

Hi,

I bought it yesterday and also ran the F1GTN750F406II.exe.

In the cockpit only one GNS750 appears and one of the default GNS530's remains.

I would have hoped that either only one GNS750 (without GNS530) was visible or 2 GNS750 systems.

Does anyone else experiencing this as well? (GNS750+default GNS530)

The configuration following GTN750 integration is the replacement of the top GNS530, while the lower one remains.

And GPS1 becomes the source, BUT the Aspen EFD map shows flight plan from the GNS530. So, the autopilot follows plan from GTN750 but EFD shows plan from the second unit. Go figure....

Best option is to turn off the Aspen map.

It is pretty useless anyway.. and uses CPU cycles..

This was discussed recently in another thread.  The issue has more to do with the GTN750 than it does Carenado, as the RXP 530 WILL output flightplan info to the EFD with the proper RXP setting enabled.  As noted in that other thread, hopefully there will be an update to the F1 GPS's to support this someday as well.
