QNH 999

Recommended Posts

When I get messages from UK ATC in P3D v3, the QNH is stated as "999". However, this was "1013" in P3D v2.4. Why the difference?

I never even noticed that I can change the air pressure at sea level. Sorry for wasting forum bandwidth!

LOL That was funny. I wouldn't call this a waste of bandwidth. ;)

I assume the default air pressure must be different in P3D v3, because I essentially set exactly the same calm and clear weather that I had in P3D v2.4.

I don't think it's the 'default' air pressure which is different.  999 just happened to be the air pressure in the weather scenario they have saved under the 'clear/calm'.  For different stock p3d weather scenarios, you'll probably have a different QNH
