I am perhaps more skeptical about this thread than others. This has the potential to be a very good system for default FSX, default aircraft, default avionics, and default scenery. A system we would have dreamed of in 2005~2007! But today is today. 

 

Third parties have obsoleted this proposed system. It may serve well for 2008. But for today it is like "back to the future"! 

 

I hesitate to ID this a a troll? Am I off on this? It just seems to be a missed approach! Something just seems too obvious!

The system you have now 965be has a 18-20% better single tread IPC .

Att stock speed on booth 965BE and FX8350 de diff 0.5-0.8fps

Not necessarily. Not everyone has tons of cash to spend. Flightsiming is an expensive hobby but no reason why you can't also enjoy it on a lower budget albeit with toned down settings. I know if my budget was 400 dollars I would still take pleasure out of flying with the maximum I could afford.

 

I do agree though that the original poster should understand that he won't gain that much performance with the specs he posted just so he isn't too disappointed and doesn't waste the cash.
