Migration Tool error when starting P3D

My humble apologies Jim,  I did not mean to put words in your mouth.   Its just that i thought EULA was a legal term

EULA = End user License Agreement.  many people really don't read that fine print that accompanies a product.  While I never said it was illegal, there are parts to the EULA that outline what can be interpreted as "reverse engineering and/or modifying".  Give it a read sometime and then give it some thought.

I realize that many people get antsy when a new product comes out and not everyone else is on board with upgraded installers and such.  Circumventing a products installation always leads to bad things at some point, I don't care who agrees or not.

Jim could you show me a link were it says, installing FSX planes into Prepar3D is illegal, i'm curious really, i don't want to be doing anything wrong

For some FSX add-on products or developers it may not be an issue.

In the case of PMDG FSX titles it definitely is. Not "illegal" in the sense that the Constable is going to show up and bust down your door, but PMDG considers it a major EULA violation, and could well take some kind of action against users caught doing it.

the Oxford dictionary says "Contrary to or forbidden by law, especially criminal law."  That means contrary to civil law - such as an EULA.

OK - this is going nowhere and we do not want to get into legal interpretation -

Closing this one.
