Just a heads up that LH Simulations has released a P3Dv3 beta installer for their fantastic LHBP Budapest scenery,

 

I've installed and tested 100% working; all scenery, textures and lighting working perfectly on my v3 install.

I was very pleasantly surprised to find this one ready to go for V3.  And it works well.

 

One thing, though--it installed its object placer dll first in the list in my dll.xml file, which causes problems with Opus FSI.  Was easy to go in and re-order the entries manually, but just beware that can be an issue.

hope we can reach you this way.

 

Please let me know more specifically what kind of problem shows up if objectPlacer DLL is set higher than the Opus FSI dll. If there is a bug in there, I'd like to close it.

Hi Peter;

 

  I use Opus to control my views...if it's not first in the dll.xml list, it causes a big delay in the initial load, and it sure seems to be less responsive to view management commands thereafter.

 

  But...perhaps it'd be best to discuss directly with Stephen at Opus, as he would be best qualified to enumerate how dll load order affects operation of the fairly popular OpusFSI add-on.
