November 286 Delta over Los Angeles

Recommended Posts

Couldn't have been a better evening. Incredible new paint for the Baron B55 from Ron Attwood. New system build (i7 4790 and GTX 970), fresh new-system installs of all flight sim elements on SSDs.  Los Angeles area with MegaScenery Los Angeles - San Diego UltraRes scenery, FSDT KLAX and Shez's recent KLGB loaded and nearby, and also local, had Latin VFR KSNA loaded. That was my origin and destination and it is the best scenery for KSNA and the surrounding area, including more key visual cues for approaches into KSNA.

On my previous system (i7 2600 3.4Ghz and GTX560TI) this was one of only two or three areas where I just could not fly without OOMs. This evening, flying this beautiful bird painted by Ron, I was seeing no framerates less than 24 and most at my locked 30 FPS. That made it an unforgettable evening. Was enjoying it so much I neglected to take more screenshots! But I spent a lot of time on AP in chase view just to see this beautiful bird against a scenic background!

Feels like it even flies better! Seems more modern throughout that those Sky King era liveries. May have picked up 5 knots TAS with this slick paint job and chrome prop hubs! And the wood paneled dash now seems consistent with the model!

Heck! I need to check frame rates also.... LOL

(1280 res image if you click on it!)

November 286 Delta, a Milviz Beech Baron E55 over west central Indiana (USA) descending at 160 knots IAS through overcast enroute to KBMG, Bloomington, Indiana, for tonight's basketball game between Indiana University and Austin Peay University. Proud to fly this good looking Ron Attwood repaint! Looks great even in rain under an overcast!  Scenery is MSE2 Indiana and the highly accurate real time weather courtesy of FSGRW.
