No water in the Salton Sea.

Recommended Posts

This is a water body in SO. California that has no water, just a very deep ditch. I have flown into it and you go so low your altimeter stops working. I have ORBYX Globel and MSV2 and nether fixes this anomaly. Has anyone else noticed this opening to the lower regions and know of a fix? It is located ENE of San Diego.

Do you have a screenshot you can post of your issue?  I've always had water in my Salton Sea whether it is default or with an addon.  Unless you are using photoreal that was never watermasked.

Embarrassed to say I have never learned to post a screen shot. Need to research that.

YaaHoo! I just down loaded FTX Vector, 1.35, uninstalled UTX USA and now I have water in my Salton Sea! This eye sore has bugged me for years flying into SOCAL. Amazing the satisfaction one can get from solving a small annoyance. Now, I wonder if they got the PH correct.
