Last year I tried NYC in X-Plane 10 with HDR on and it was a stutter fest. With 10.41, it's as smooth as butter (and it with Aerosoft's NYC converted and added into things). This will be awesome. Can't wait.

As with all things flight sim, it will be all about performance. I'm looking forward to some reports.

So far, Id say the frame rate is very good. a little better than the converted Aerosoft FSX version I was using before.  That version served me well for years, but had some buildings without textures and some of the bridges did not convert correctly. This version looks a lot better.  Some of the smaller buildings are a little low res, but most look very good, even up close. Night lighting is also very well done.

It all fits nicely with the NYC airports they previously released.  All in All, Id say this is the best it gets for NYC.

I'll go ahead and report as well. I have an i5  overclocked to 4.5 gh and with

Skymaxx ,RTH and some car traffic running and medium settings for rendering

I'm getting from 26 to 36 FPS. Thats more than I was getting with the stock

scenery. I pretty happy so far.

I bought New York X  for FSX some time ago ( when I was still flying FSX) and

It would run about 2 seconds and run out of memory so this is great.

I can see X-plane going far with some of the stuff that's coming out

in the near future.
