Yes, I have checked the date, and it isn't April 1st. A member (Raymer) on the the Prepar3d website is reporting explosions and craters on the runway whilst taxiing? Yikes!! Which tweak is he using to get THAT level of realism?  

 

Mike Young (from LM) is investigating but, until they get it sorted, I think that I will be giving Rafic Hariri a wide berth for a while!  :ph34r:

Doesn't the "Pro" version carry those type of effects?

Yep the Pro version does and has armoured vehicles (tanks) that fire as well so you can co-ordinate your attack
