August 31, 200520 yr Hey guys is there a limit on how many purchases one can make with flight1's wrapper? Example, I downloaded both UT:USA and Cirrus SR20G2...I proceeded with the UT purchase no problems (as usual). After it was installed and everything was finished. I proceeded to purchase the Cirrus SR20G2 everthing was fine util during the authorizing portion I get a message that says " card used too recently"(which was true)I'd just made a purchase of the UT. From an ecommerce perspective this is a good thing to have, to catch multiple purchases of the same product, but these are two different products. They do use the same wrapper though. So do we have to wait a day or a few hours to buy more than one product that uses the Flight1 wrapper?Kind of a bummer last night as I came home from work thinking I'd make these two purchases in succession and start enjoying them immediately. But if you can only purchase one thing per day with the same card I guess I'll have to wait another day to purchase the cirrus SR20G2. :(
August 31, 200520 yr I would have thought that was the card issuer rather than Flight1. After all if they can get authorisation from the card issuer why turn a sale down - it would not make economic sense.Have a word with the card issuer. William Hall
August 31, 200520 yr I'm guessing it's a safety issue imposed by the card company. Not a flight one issue and not every card has that, mine doesnt, I could max it out in an hour with several purchases if I was insane...
August 31, 200520 yr Author Spook and UK, I think you guys are right...my card issuer only sees Flight1 as the seller so to them it looks like mutiple attempts with the same vender. within minutes of the first purchase.I'll try again tonight, should have no problem...I hope :)
