Lear unusable

Recommended Posts

Hi all-

Just downloaded and installed the Lear.

No aircraft in the preview window show when selecting any variation.

When I do select one, it takes about 20 seconds to load and 10 seconds to go from inside/outside cockpit.

P3D V3 is essentially unusable with this aircraft.

Haswell/SSDs/Titan configuration.

This behavior has never been observed with any other aircraft, stock or payware.

Anyone else seen this on a new install?

Thanks,

Mark

Hi Mark

I've downloaded and installed all 6 updates so far into P3D V3 and had no problems like you describe.

Try again I'm sure you'll find the problem - it really is a delightful and well supported aircraft add-on.

Their website says that to get the latest update, re-download the installer from the vendor.

I'm assuming that what I downloaded a few hours ago has all the latest updates.

V1.7 has fixed the P3D preview window. Loading time on P3D is slower than FSX according to our beta team but the time is only 3 seconds and is the same for all of their aircraft. If your time is 10 seconds then your system or settings are causing this. i hope you solve this issue as our model is working fine for hundreds of customers.

Newtie,

Stick with this Lear. Flysimware is doing a great job with updates and support so far. Some issues are FSW and corrected, but I'm convinced part of my problem is a control/panel/v3 conflict.

I wonder if people reporting NWS issue are all running P3D v3?

Best Regards,

Mark

Never got it installed and working correctly, and never heard back from them.

Went with the LionHeart Lear. Works great.

No more FlySimWare for me. I'll consider the bill a donation.

Cheers,

Mark

Hey Newtie,

Dont miss the change to try the best Learjet around.    I got to say something, its programming is very very complex, and we are all here helping improve it.   I got to say that after 15 year in virtual aviation, this is one of those "Must have" software but....but...but   -->   Only for real serious simmers(And real life pilots)

I had many problems installing the LJ35A.  But after sharing and helping each other, the developer has achieved an incredible level of realism.   I know that still more things to come/fix, but i have about 30 hours flying it and i just dont want to try anything else!

Suggestion:

1 - Remove you airplane using the installer(Program files/Flysimware...etc),  then remove the folder inside P3DV3 Airplane folder.

2-  Download and isntall the lastest version(V1.7) of the airplane...

3 - Download and install the lastest XML dll as explained in this forum.

4- Fly!....

No tweaks needed - I repeat -->  Engane Autopilot and observe it flying! :Tounge:

Dont you want to loose this opportunity, do you?

Raphael,

I have not heard about a new XML DLL? Can you please point me/us to more info on this?

Thanks!

Sure, just download ans install this...

Otherwise the download manager probabbly wont work  (Shitf+2 - Left side - Payload Manager)

There is a bit of editing.... you got to add some lines to a DLL file indise your P3d(be carefull and backup first), but after droping the DLL in the main P3DV3,  everything will be fine...

Happy flying...

The simmarket download is still 1.7. So maybe a little wait makes sense.

Interesting, v. 1.6 ran just fine on my system. 1.7 with the payload manager dll crashes. Keen to see what 1.8 does.

We fixed the P3D preview window. This would not make the aircraft not work it simply displays a sample in the window.

Nobody has a 10 second delay. What version do you have? The version name is on the exe name.

I have Lionheart's lear and the performance is the same. Anyways just trying to help as the reviews are 5 stars and the majority have no issues.

Just redownloaded the (all ready purchase)d most recent(?) version from PCAviator.

Installed perfectly. Great looking aircraft.

Now, just got to figure out how to start it

Thanks for following up.

Cheers,

Mark
