Hello,

 

after 18 month trying to connect ma mcp orig with the PMDG 777, i bought last week a mcp2 (Airbus style).

 

First i deleted all old linda files overall.

 

The I install successful  the MCP2 and Linda ver. 2.6.4. The settings in Linda are ok.

Copying the aerosoft Airbus and the PMDG files.

 

The Airbus works fine. No reds error after reload lua.

Default aircrafts works fine.

After loading the PMDG 777 nor red Errors. The Displays of the mcp Change to the aircraft. Alt, Hdg, V/S s.o are shown on the mcp like on the fsx Panel.

But: When i try to rotate the knobs, nothing happen. Also the Switches - without the com and the Transponder switsch.

Rotating the knobs and Switches inside the fsx-Panel are shown on the MCP.

 

Inside the module/linda/aircraft/Pmdg 777_200LR there are following files:

Actions.lua         139 kb

ident.lua                 1 kb

Pmdg 777-200LR.Functions.txt            16 kb

PMDG 777-200LR-MCP2aAssighn.txt   12 kb

readme.txt              1 kb

user.lua                  1 kb

 

 

What is the mistake, what is wrong?

 

I know, supporting linsa is a hard Job, but it is a great tool!

 

Maybe, somebody can help me.

I've had the same problem as well...  Trying to setup the MCP Combo with Linda and my PMDG777 on P3D and nothing happens.  Appreciate some help here.

Sorry to hear about your problems with LINDA and the PMDG 777. I have not responded as I do not possess or use the 777. (I am an Airbus flyer). I will see what I can do with some suggestions.

 

Please open the LINDA Console with your 777 loaded. Click on the Reload LAU Engine and then cut and paste the console contents to a .txt file and email to [email protected]. Also send me a copy of your config-mcp2.lua or config-mcp2a.lua (which ever is in use).

 

If you are using the original MCP1 panel then I'm afraid I am unable to assist.

The issue was, that he simply hasn't assigned the MPDG functions to his MCP Combo.

Hello, gunseli, in this topic we are talking about the MCP2airbus, your bild is the MCP2 boeing..

 

This is a 2 year old discussion. It does not matter which MCP2 variant in this case. Apart from a few different knobs and buttons, the MCP Combo 2 (Boeing) and (Airbus) function the same. The configuration file, handlers.lua and some display code is different but they are essentially the same.
