November 28, 201510 yr Tony, since downloading your Massachesetts Pro (the entire virtual detailed state) and since then, been using predominantly helicopters to explore it, I can't remember a time that I have had a physical 'chill' run down the spine, as I take it all in, over a Dawn-to-daybreak scenario. You have created one h*ll of a scenery pack. I could go on and on (but won't...) about why it all comes home to the user...but the main bullets are: * total virtual immersion; all features and land mass is correctly placed * roadway systems, interstates, main, minor, suburban and rural, are all there * forested areas, look exactly like pictures from any part of the state * your custom auto-gen libraries are simply in a word, fabulous for the look, architecture, and color of the Maritime States! Now, I don't know how much the XPX.42 is playing out in all this...when you have it configured as so: but, WITH it as so, and with capturing the following Dawn scenes on a flight I'm in right now...I just had to come here, and highlight your work. You could have NOT picked a better state for breaking onto the United States territory. The state is a major tourist attraction for all U.S. residents, as well as many from Europe. It has myriads of quaint harbors, river basins, varied topography, rivers, streams, ...and as you say, the entire state is mostly heavily forested, which shows up KILLER in XPX.42 with the above set parameters. Yes, I could go on...but promised I would not. Let me instead share some of the early morning screenshots, with you, Mr. Wob....over the coastline, outer islands, and a quaint morning township, just waking themselves up, for Saturday. Thank you, Tony...and especially thank you for having chosen Massachusetts as your first foray. You did a spectacular job in every aspect, and I nominate you for an AVSIM award, in the scenery design for XPX.42. We all joke about it...but seriously, Laminar should be speaking to quite a few regular contributors that have shared their stupendous contributions, in the design of scenery, mesh, vector resolution...all elements that are in the following screenshots. It is all of your collective work, that has PROMOTED Laminar's product, and I think that THEY should also have a NOTED CONTRIBUTED mention, on their own website. You folks (collective elements) are selling copies of XPX.42....and not just merely the flight simulator, which of course is an excellent platform in itself, ....that has copies 'flying' out the digital download door...
November 28, 201510 yr Author Last few shots, before the household wakes up...and I go into Grandpa Mode...my turn to make pancakes...; I caught a FedEx transport doing its thing, early Saturday Morning. I betcha he/she wishes they were any other place than working right now...but at least..they are by the sea....good zen.
November 28, 201510 yr Moderator You're most welcome, and thank you for posting the screenshots, I'm always happy to see people using and enjoying my sceneries.

November 28, 201510 yr Hopefully people will start making scenery for the state. This is a beautiful canvas to start.
November 29, 201510 yr Just did a trial flight @Boston , city looks pretty nice. As I am on a laptop and need to downclock to avoid the 100c my fps is pretty good 15's @1.6 Ghz, If I keep it at full throttle I get above 25 fps unless it throttles to get the heat down below 100c. All my settings are extreme excluding HDR. I noticed the trees are a killer. Nice place to fly around. Flying to Corsica today. Ryzen 5 1600x - 16GB DDR4 - RTX 3050 8GB - MSI Gaming Plus
