Can PrecipitFX and 777 Immersion work together?

Recommended Posts

I'm confused. I recently bought PrecipitFX thinking that it was effects for all aircrafts. But then I saw that there's a 777 immersion package which basically has the same effects...

So what's the difference?

If so, can the 2 add-ons work together or will there be some sort of conflict between the effects?

Hi,

Both do work perfectly together.

From our website:

777 Immersion

Effects package for the PMDG 777-200LR and 300ER:
Every effect in the 777 Immersion Package is precisely calibrated to work in harmony with PMDG's Boeing 777-200LR and 300ER under custom sets of weather conditions, making it as real as it gets.

PrecipitFX
Brand new rain and snow effects for FSX & P3D (v2, v3)
PrecipitFX is a set of new realistic textures and effects that will change your flying experience! Indeed, most default effects in FSX and P3D are drab and doesn’t look like anything realistic. PrecipitFX will bring your simming experience to new heights with completely revamped contrails, rain and snow textures as well as overhauled effects wheels spray and engine wash effects.

777 Immersion also adds Wing Condensation, Volumetric Lighting, among other custom effects.

Regards,
