I can't recommend these two products any higher....than Top-Shelf!

Recommended Posts

These two....immersion beyond any flight simmer's full expectation!

1...   XPScenery-GoldenGateSouthBayGolden Gate , KSFO and South Bay

2...   XPScenery-KLASKLAS - GLITTER GULCH

You MUST READ the installation ***Read Me First!*** file on both products to know how to sequentially place all the files and folders within XPX.42.  Take your time...easy...but you can't crow-bar it into the folder...and fly.

The results are spectacular immersion...and with the sim at my full out...am pulling on my system 18-20 FPS easy...and that is now using a 3rdP copter....

I can't recommend these two scenery packages any more higher, than this post.  They are at a great price for the each of them right now...today...so JUMP ON IT, and see San Francisco and Bay (south included...Oakland...all there...) as well as a KILLER Las Vegas area and local airports.

Hurry..who knows when the prices will revert back to the full asking....

Below, two shots as I head up and out of KOAK, and its affiliate aviation properties that surround it....

Nice shots Mitch!  I do enjoy Tom's KLAS Glitter Gulch scenery, but wished he would have used better texturing on the casino's although I suppose it would eat FPS.

I'm just coming into San Fran, from over mid bay...and H.S......but the scenery is gorgeous, Pug!  Total immersion....WOW!

I'm getting good flight control in XPX.42 (in the Bell 407) even down to some 13-15 FPS range...but of course, I have the scenery (and the rest of the sim)...open full-bore...and OMG...you WANT this scenery open full bore...that's what you are PAYING FOR!   Yeeeehaw!

Would you know how to remove the trees showing through the buildings, is there a way of 'excluding' them.

I haven't seen that yet...but of course, I am a totally 1/2 total-flight hours...'newbie' into this scenery package....so...hopefully, someone will/can help you with that.  For myself...these two packages are my truly first 3rdP commercial foray with XPX.42....and all I can say...is XPX.42...takes NO BACK SEAT to any other sim...when dressed up with all that we throw into the others...in fact...I think this truly captures the feel of the San Fran area bay and all virtually better than anything else I own..it is so 'clear, color intense' just....WOW, WOW, WOW!

You need to see it though, unrestricted...with all visual sliders and/or their wording, at their max....THAT is what makes San Fran come virtually alive and...gawd...am I impressed!

...just a thought, I think that I loaded in v1.4...can't remember...so perhaps you should re-download, for perhaps there have been tweaks and twacks, since your install, Pug.

I found one thing, wrong with the San Fran package...under all the bridges, you see traffic at the water level moving across obviously a road, that should not be there...and should have an exclusion.  This should be mentioned to the Devs...for this to be corrected. I have traffic running across the waterline right under the Golden Gate, as well as all other bridges that cross the bay. Something needs to be excluded/removed, and if anybody does know about this already, what do you do to remove this.  The aforementioned is the only bug/blight in the San Fran package...but is not a  reason to not recommend this package highly. I have seen and have had the exact same thing in using P3D and FSX, so it must be a vector thing?

I hope this can be fixed by them, or myself, with somebody's post...

Sesquashtoo.

Nice to say hello.

Love your picture chronicles. A request. Any chance of posting JPEG's instead of PNG files for bandwidths sake. If not, that's fine. Just thought i would ask.

All the best, and cheers from OZ.

Glad that you like them! :)

I'll look into that for you...but PNG, has much less compression...so clearer, but with the result...of a larger pic file.

I agree, the XPScenery-KLASKLAS - GLITTER GULCH brings a much better immersion to the Vegas strip. Seeing that skyline at night from a distance is breathtaking, and then there are the additional airports and places of interest included. I don't regret this purchase.
