EZDOK Camera Switching?

Recommended Posts

I installed EZDOK for the first time, and after much frustration trying to understand how to set the camera views for the PMDG 737, I have found that the views do not cycle with keyboard or joystick assignments.  I have practically unbound every key in the sim that relates to views.  Looking online I see what appears to be an older version of EZDOK with a section for camera view, however, the new version and manual that comes with it only has the "View System" menu and "Default View" menu.

So to cycle through the preset cameras I created, I should be able to bind keys to the Default Menu section under "next in current" and "prev in current" within the VC category.  This does not work.  What it does it cycle through is a view of F/O, Overhead, Pedestal and so on.  A set of views I see in the FSX menu, but I do not have those views bound to any keys!!  They're 2D panel views mostly.  I've been trying to set this up for hours and have reached my breaking point.  No software should be this complicated.

ETA:  Looks like I have to assign a separate key for each view?  No cycling?  :fool:

I have added the camera views to F1 through F10, but I think it's ridiculous that I can't just cycle through them with one key.

Have you enabled the cycle feature in the EZCA control panel?  It is located next to the camera views by the letter "C".

Apparently the Flight One wrapper is 1.15 and the latest is 1.16.  I'm installing that to try it.  Thx.

Download 1.17.

Go into FSX and delete any keys associated with the views. Delete the page down & page up. I've also deleted F keys because I have GoFlight Modules. I use the keypad to activate all my views. Numlock off.

Here's my ezdok settings:

I can easily cycle through default fav cam to ezdok cams. I've also set up my keypad to access cams quickly.

Wow, so the Flight One page has 1.15, the EZDOK website has 1.16 and the forums for support have 1.17! I guess I'll download and update to 1.17 today lol

1.16 did fix my cycling issue though. I was able to assign a rocker on my yoke and it worked great. Thanks again. :-)
