Saitek Pedestal Levers

Recommended Posts

Hi Folks. Does anybody know please, why it is that when I set my Propeller and Mixture levers for my Saitek Pedestal at the top, the only reach 80% in the cockpit and I have to push the last 20% up using my mouse on the levers in the actual cockpit. I have tried setting both with FUISIP and I have tried setting both in the control panel. But still I only get 80% when the levers are pushed to the top of the Pedestal. This is for all my light aircraft in P3D, not just certain ones.

Hope someone can help.

Much appreciated.

Don't even start the sim until you can calibrate (and get full deflection) within Windows joystick config.  If it will not deflect fully, then there is a hardware problem.  Things can actually fall between the levers and interfere with motion, but likely it's the variable resistor (pot) that is sticky or gone bad.

Either way, it has to calibrate properly in Windows first.

Best Regards,

Mark

Not withstanding the rather unlikely possibility of malfunctioning equipment being the issue, if you are using FSUIPC then make sure you do not have "Enable Joystick" checked in P3D.  Also to make sure of no interference from the sim, I have deleted all axis assignments in P3D.  Throttle quadrant works ok with things this way.
