Now! For those who have not had the experience, the tires on the ground road trip from Las Vegas to St George is one to add to your bucket list. The drive takes you from the desert floor up to a higher elevation through the Virgin River Canyon. There is just no way to describe in words the towering wall of mountain range that you approach without any vision of how you will scale it. Then it opens up into a canyon that you climb through with towering and colorful canyon walls on each side. It is an absolutely incredible drive. 

 

Beautiful terrain to fly over. But the road trip is not to miss!

Thank you very much! .....agree i-15North  picture #15 shows a town called Beaver Dam and the virgin river exiting the mountains. That is where the fun starts!
