Hello ,

I had my saitek yoke, rudder pedals and throttle quadrant  working perfectly well in windows 10 till a couple of days back. After a certain windows update, all of the sudden the green lights on those would go off after windows 10 is booted up.Hence they do not work in P3Dv3 anymore. After searching google, i installed the windows 10 saitek drivers for those. After installing the drivers and rebooting windows, the green lights as well as the red lights on the radio panel keep blinking. I need to restart the machine a second time to get all of them to work. Basically i now need to restart the computer twice to have the green lights on for the devices to be usable. Anybody facing this issue after any recent windows 10 update? Any solutions, if any?

Pankaj

+1 with saitek x52 and win10 - wish Microsoft would sort it out after all the people that complain about it - fed up with switching things on and off, reinstalling drivers etc.

All the best

I had the same issue with my Pro Flight Yoke and throttle quadrant. I had to manually extract the driver's .exe file. Then I plugged in my yoke with the throttles. In Device Manager I located the yokes device entry. It had an exclamation mark on it. From there I right clicked to update the driver. I then clicked "Browse my computer for the driver software". I choose "Let me pick from a list of device driver's on my computer". I had two options, Pro Flight Yoke and USB Device. I selected the USB Device and the yoke and throttles worked after that.

I should have saved the link, but I think I caught Saitek say something on their support site that they is a know issue with the driver caused by the Windows 10 Build 1151 update that rolled out a little while back. My method of fixing it was from Saitek/Madcatz's support site.

Where and when did you get the Saitek Windows 10 drivers? Please see my just posted topic "Finally! Issue free Saitek Cessna Pro Flight drivers for Windows 10"  on Saitek and Windows 10 for the Cessna Pro Flight controls.

Also, if you are using Saitek panels you should check out Spad:Next, a successor to Spad. Google for Spad:Next.

And ---

Do a Google for "SaitekUSBFix.exe" and use it to turn off Windows Advanced Power Management for your Saitek devices.

Please read the new Avsim Topic I referred to above. It is in the Windows 10 forum. Then check/compare to the version number on the driver(s) you are now using.
