VC Runway lights not working

Recommended Posts

Just noticed I have no vc runway lights in pmdg 737 I do at first if I change time of day and go back to night they dont work - also I cant pick another pmdg 737 aircraft while in sim if I do p3d closes out - this is in P3D 3.1 - not sure if it was a problem in 3.0 as I just installed it - thanks

Lockheed is aware of this issue. There's an older post here:

http://www.avsim.com/topic/475787-p3d-v3-landing-lights-not-illuminating-ground/

...but the TL;DR of it is:

Start flight during the day and transition to night? Lights won't work.

Start flight during night (regardless of you changing it to any other time thereafter)? Lights work.

Perhaps they'll have this fixed for v3.1.

Another sensitivity brought on by this batch of updates, but not quite a new issue. We've always noted that the aircraft should never be re-loaded into the same type (livery changes). Change to an intermediate aircraft in between, like the default F-22.
