Clickspot errors

Recommended Posts

I've had this problem a few times, where basically one minute my clickspots will stop working everywhere, and then work the next. And no, my ezdok view is not the problem, there's nothing in my way.

I am using standalone FSX:SE, windows 10 64-bit.

I have seen this also in P3D - only way I know of fixing it was rebooting sim

I rebooted the sim, reloaded the saved flight, and still the problem remains.

Not good - PMDG will chime in - hope they can help you

Wait you mention a saved flight that might be part of the problem - does it do it when you dont load a saved flight and start a fresh flight ? check it out

I can start fresh again. I would not like to do that time after time after setting up for 10-20 min. however, or even worse, some time into a flight.

So are you saying there is no problem unless you use a saved flight - could be an issue with FSX not NGX

I just completely started the flight over. After I started taxiing, it happened again.

Sigh.

I can use the 2D panels just fine, btw. But the clickspots in the VC crap out completely.

Could be a video driver issue look into that

Reinstall simconnect. Fixed issue for me because apparently some add on overwrites them

I am still having this issue. Simconnect re-install didn't do anything for me. I'm just supposed to run the .msi files in the SDK folder relating to simconnect, correct? The order doesn't matter?

Found these topics about the same issue but no solution

Running FSX:SE, happens in both DX9 and DX10

Then submit a ticket. You've been here long enough to know where to request support.
