Can't uninstall FSX

I switched over to P3D V3 last month. Now i won't to removed FSX but it won't uninstall, i go into control panel select FSX click uninstall, the install wizardshield pops up and loads then goes away with nothing else happening.

When you use the Add/Remove program, the first "uninstall" will be Acceleration or SP2.  The entry in the Add/Remove Program should then change to basic FSX program.  It will will not completely uninstall FSX.  You will have to go into those hidden folders where your fsx.cfg and your scenery.cfg are located and remove those.  You will also have to remove the FSX Files entry in My Documents.  Lastly, I would then run a registry cleaner to clean out anything left over in the registry.

Hi jim that is correct. But my whole folder FSX is still intact and no uninstalled. I've done a few uninstalls in the past and this hasn't worked.

 

So i've just deleted the whole FSX folder and the FSX.CFG folder thing in app data.
