asnext wxr gauge setup for pc12

Recommended Posts

the asnext wx radar gauge by Roland Ifor can be dropped into the pc12.

edit the panel.cfg section, comment out the existing gauges and add the one in red:

[Vcockpit04]
Background_color=0,0,0
size_mm=512,512
visible=0
pixel_size=512,512
texture=$Panel_4

//gauge00=EX500_PC12!EX500_config,       0,  0,   1,  1
//gauge01=EX500_PC12!EX500_3D,           0,  0, 513,409

gauge00=RolASNRadar!ORadGauge, 99, 70, 314, 251, sweep|icing

//gauge02=EX500_PC12!EX500_Update,       0,  0,   1,  1
//gauge03=PC12CAR!ToggleCARG500,         0,  0, 513, 32

works great and can get rid of the ex500 mess that runs heavy.  vc gauge reflection has to be OFF.

to see the beam sweep, change gauge option to "sweep|beam|icing"

this also fixes the test pattern.

Thanks! Is there any negatives from removing the Carenado guage? I remember one of their other airplanes you couldn't remove the gauge due to some type of protection

Doubt it.

Try it out and you'll know for sure.
