Saitek Panels not Working in V3.1

Recommended Posts

Hey All,

I am hoping the community may be able to help me. I installed the latest Saitek drivers for P3D and cannot get my panels to work. They are plugged directly into my PC and when using the saitek test panels, they work fine so I know it isnt a USB issue. But when I launch the game, my switch panel and multi panel dont work at all. They dont even light up. I am using a completely clean install of P3D 3.1 and in my exe.xml I have the following:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="Windows-1252"?>
<SimBase.Document Type="Launch" version="1,0">
<Descr>Launch</Descr>
<Filename>exe.xml</Filename>
<Disabled>False</Disabled>
<Launch.ManualLoad>False</Launch.ManualLoad>

<Launch.Addon>
<Name>Saitek Panel(s) Plugin for FSX</Name>
<Disabled>True</Disabled>
<Path>C:\Program Files (x86)\Saitek\ProFlight FSX Plugin\SaiFlightSimX.exe</Path>
<CommandLine>-run</CommandLine>
</Launch.Addon>

</SimBase.Document>

Any ideas on what is going on? Your help is greatly appreciated.

Let me guess.... you want 64bit.

I've switched to SPAD.neXt as then i can use the panels for addon aircraft like the NXG etx. Sure its payware, but you can try it for free;-)

Thanks guys, but I also have an instrument panel (the lcd display) and SPAD doesnt support that, so I would like some help using the default drivers if possible.

Ok, so I tried SPAD, and found that the latest version actually does support the FIP. So I will be using that. Shame Saitek cant get it together.
