Throttle Calibration on p3d v3

Recommended Posts

Hi,

how do I calibrate the throttles on the T7 using P3D V3 ?

PMDG recommends not to use FSUIPC.

But P3D allows only Null Zone and Sensitivity Adjustment.

Not like in FSX where there is full adjusting possible.

In Automatic FMC Operation I can get 102% N1 and Idle 21%, which is OK.

But manual it is limited to 85% on Take-Off  (much too low) and 35% minimum on Idle (much too high).

What can I do?

I forgot: I am using Logitech G940 Throttles

Calibrate. My throttles are set max sensitivity and zero null zone and work as expected.  Uncalibrated control will not have the span that you require, or too much... that's why we calibrate.

Full names in the PMDG forums, Harry.

You missed the point, your full sensitivity is uncalibrated. Calibrate the controls.

P3Dv3 is missing the calibrate button, v3.1 has it. Regardless, you can calibrate the game controller from the Windows control panel.

OK, thats the same calibration as in the Logitech Software.

That's why I didn't use the Windows version before.

I calibrated it again.

When I start engines they run up to 21% N1.

As soon as I move one throttle a bit they spool up to 32%.

= no change

Hi all,

the Problem is solved with P3D 3.1

The added calibration function works fine.
