Flashing rain textures

Hi!

 

I am having this issue. When the rain intensity varies and the rain effect changes  I get a sort of a dark flash. I read this bug was solved in version 1.1. I have v 1.5.0.4 so this problem shouldn't be there. What could be wrong? I am using DX10 with steve's fixer. Thank you!

Do you use active sky next?

Than in the DX 10 scenery fixer you have option to prevent this. 

 

Go to rain and mark checkbox with "revised ASN texture fix"

Can this problem be fixed in fsx without using dx10? I get flashing black textures over my screen when precipitation starts or stops.
