Headsets For FSX etc

Recommended Posts

The bl00dy dog has just eaten my USB headset!!!!!!!!!!

They were quite old, so looking for recommendations for flight sim (and ATC) use.

Is USB the way to go, or is ok to use headsets with standard 'jack' plugs?

Looks like there are some that have both!

I don't have a suggestion, Dougal, but will say that your dog loves you: well-seasoned headsets are tasty!   The more seasoned, the better!

I have both I think you'll get better sound clarity from a usb but if USB ports are at a premium I'd get an audio jack one the sound difference is minor

I bought the HyperX Cloud II Gaming Headset half a year ago. I love it and it wasn't that expensive.

Under $200, Sennheiser Game One.

Once you get around $450+, the doors open: Sennheiser HMD 26 II, but it's balanced/pro.

Not big money compared to what we spend on our system and peripherals.

Just my opinions after wearing phones ...for a long, long time.

Mark

HyperX Cloud Gaming Headset

All the way for the money - great sound luv them - they are actually made by a very high end maker and Kingston just puts their name on it - nice

I've had a logitech G930 for years and wouldn't swap it.

Its wireless and has 7.1 surround.

I both my refurbished in a brown box marked Logitech.

I would swear it was completely new and unused.

It was around $50. It has been replaced on the

logitech product line so you should be able to

find it at a very reasonable price.

Like so many other things these days if find that

previous products generation quality is better than the latest.

That's a generalization I haven't tried the logitech

specific replacement so no comment.

Well that TrackClip Pro has fit on the headphones somehow.

Or are you using the hat clip?
