    You shouldn't have to do steps 2 to 5, in fact if you delete the simobject entries, you'll lose all your textures, not just the official ones you can redownload from the OC but any ones you downloaded

I don't see any downloads after I log in to the PMDG eCommerce sight.  However, I do see this specific update(1.10.7025 SP1F) in the PMDG Operations Center.  So, what to do... what to do?

    How to Install the Update: We recommend that you uninstall your previous version of the 777 and then run the new installer downloaded from your account. You can just run the new installer if you wish and it will evaluate whether it can update your installation or not... Follow the instructions that it gives you.

     

    On the uninstall/reinstall -

     

    Should one deactivate the 777 via the FMC, uninstall/reinstall, then activate as if it was a fully fresh install,

     

    -or-

     

    Leave the 777 in the activated state, and simply uninstall/reinstall and let the activation engines handle it all on the back end with no worries.

    Only time you need to RETURN the license first is if you are doing an Operating System reinstall, or you are wiping out the machine completely and starting over....

     

    You can uninstall/reinstall the PMDG software as many times as you like.  Installation and activation or two different processes... 

     

    (Confusing, I know...  We were all trained to think of them as a single event...but they no longer are!)

    I returned the license and that was 3rd time in past 4/5 months I think so hopefully it will work.
