Timer T and stuck in checklist

Recommended Posts

Hi,

After a long time I decided to reinstall FS2Crew for Q400 (again).
Still I'm having difficulties to use it on my system.

  1. I don't see the timer in the display, like T+24 etc
Is that because I omitted the Pre-Flight Events? Is the timer only working with pre-flight events?

  2. When omitting the pre-flight events, is it required to manually cycle to each next action/checklist,
by using the arrows keys in the display?

  3. What is the exact phrase I should use for the Flaps response in After Start checklist??
It says: SET / Indicating CR.
I have tried one zillion responses but the F.O. simply does not advance to the next item.
Also the F.O. is completely deaf for the word 'SKIP' He doesn't comply, and I'm stuck in the checklist.

Please advise,

Egbert

Hi Egbert,

1. Timer: Only appears when running the Pre Flight Events.

2. If you don't run the pre-flight events, you may advance the mode (if desired) to the desired starting checklist/mode, and start from there.

After that, all modes will auto advance as long as you hit the trigger for the mode to auto cycle.  So long as you're following the manual, you will hit the trigger point.

3. Please read the latest change log.  SKIP has been deprecated.  Please use "SET AND CHECKED" instead.  We did this to standardize the product with the very latest FS2Crew products.

Best,

Hi Bryan,

Thanks for the info.

Since I read the manual maybe you could update that one as well. It will take away some confusion, at least with me.

On page 24:

1. If you get stuck, use the speech phrase 'SKIP' to skip to the next item.
