Hi,

Guys I have GTX670 2GB TOP.

Worth to do SLI with another GTX670 2GB TOP or it's better to buy a new one? Like GTX970/GTX980?

The guy is asking me for 140€ for a 2 years used GTX670.

What do you think guys?

Thanks.

Hi

I've used gtx670's in SLI about a year.

In FSX, there's little point as FSX can't use SLI. In p3d you could make a case but with my i5 @ 4.2ghz the graphics card isn't the limiting factor. I've actually just removed the second 670 as its proved more trouble than it was worth. I eventually believed it interfered with FSX operation.

Personally I would save for a 970, that's what I am going to do.

All the best

Jason

In my experience I'd still wait or save some money and go for the 970. Much more bang for your buck card....

Or wait for the PASCAL's to come out and reasses the situation....that's what I am doing at this point with my new build.

This is very easy: do you want it for flight sims only or for other games too?

If for flight sims only a second card for SLI is throwing your money to the garbage, as like others have said, the sims don't use SLI...
