NFL Flt Plan Idea

Hi All.

 

 

Your missions: Flight plan to follow your favorite football team (US, NFL) on all their away games.

 

 

I just finished the season in a C195 with three of my friends, using real weather (Historic) for the games. The Dallas trip was brutal without AP, but it is really rewarding to do it "old school", and leaving the GPS in the hanger.

 

In fact, this is a coold idea no matter what sport it is.

hahaha yes! i actually do this quite frequently. i like the outdoor games because i like to compare the weather conditions in the sim with what i can see on the tv. college games also provide some interesting destinations to smaller airports, flying from ann arbor to columbus is a fun quick flight. i do nascar events sometimes also.

 

oftentimes you can actually find the team charters on flightaware. and other related stuff..for example, back when brett favre came out of retirement to join the vikings, it was on the news and there was a reporter at the airport saying he was due any minute or whatever, sure enough there was a direct flight  in a citation from mississippi to minnesota in progress..

!! I didn't even think about NASCAR!   I love the follow sports idea.. if I could afford a plane of my own, this is exactly the kind of flights we'd be doing.
