Failed to load Hypergauge.

Recommended Posts

Dear Ed,

Yesterday I bought and installed Mindstar GNS 430/530 in my FSX-Steam.

Run the program as administrator.

When I start FSX I get this message:

"Failed to load Hypergauge. Check dll.xml and modules folder."

I follow all the indications in this similar topic here:

Gauges are in place at gauges folder

Hypergauge.dll is in place at modules folder

Hypergauge entry in DLL.xml file is ok

No "IgnoreFreeLibrary" value at FSX.EXE.

What more I can do to solve the issue?

Thanks in anticipation.

Did you ever get asked to trust the Hypergauge.dll when you started FSX?

Yes.

I am not sure if I realy use administration rights to run the installation program the first time I did it. Last time I uninstall the program and reinstall as admin. Maybe it should be the problem. There is any way to star from the scratch again?

Tks

Hi Ed,

I also am still having loading hypergauge.ll.  Same message as others.  Followed your direction in the registry to the entry of layers, could not find any entry there.  Am I missing something to see entries at the layers folder.

Stop this post from going to me. This is really old, and I'm not having this problem. Thanks

You would need to unfollow it.

Did you ensure you have the hypergauge.dll in the Modules folder of the sim?  DId you ensure the dll.xml file has an entry that tells the sim to load the hypergauge.dll?
