Recommended Posts

Hey,

For those who ordered any of the P3D versions of L1011, 727 or 737 - could you share your quick feedback on installation and quick performance of the birds.

Have like close to 22 hours before the sale goes away.  Your insights will very beneficial.

Thanks,

And if anyone who had previous experience with the 727 in FSX is there much in the line of improvements or are we just paying for an P3D V3 Installer of which I have already read may have issues?

Interested in knowing about the 727 since i am on the same wagon - Got it for FSX, is it worth a second purchase?

Quick feedback for 737: Installed to P3DV3.1, it offered either 2.5 or 3. as I have both. No problems.

Launched the AA livery at PAJN and took it around the block. 'Seems' much simpler than say their L1011. I'd almost call this a 'lite' systems aircraft. It hand flew very well, excellent VC, exterior, and wing views I thought. Very stable on approach and landing, ground handled OK, good sounds, comes with default GPS. Performance was great. For $11 US I'm pleased with it...I need more hours.

Also, it's seems to be not so GoFlight MCP friendly.

Hope that helps a bit!

cheers,

Greg

I've loved the L1011 in P3D because it performs extremely well on my system, it is so easy on FPS.

Another vote for the L1011.  Running it in V3.1, installed with no issues.  Runs with no issues (only flew for 45 mins).

Runs very smoothly.

Overall very satisfied with this 9.99 purchase.

You're just paying for a P3D installer. In fact, the FSX versions generally worked fine in P3D until CS issued updates that deliberately stopped them functioning in P3D, to force customers to repurchase.

And before any would be lawyer jumps up and down on me with EULA stuff, I'm not condoning the above, just using the point to highlight how there is little difference between CS's FSX and P3D products.

For those interested in the L1011, JustFlight's Pro version offers a lot more system depth and includes an FMS, although obviously it costs a lot more until the CS sale ends today.

It surely is...

I've purchased the 777 (ugh), the L1011 for FSX and now the 737 (P3D). The T7 is out the window. I like the L1011 but in FSX:SE it's a resource hog and I could not make it work in P3D. Three flights with the 737 and it's running/flying wonderfully in P3D3.1. Pondering the 727 now...

CS 737-200 P3D version a delight. It's my go to plane when I need a break from PMDG and Aerosoft programming. Tons of liveries available, Alex Faber's paints are masterful.

Yep got this one too with the L1011.  Both are base packages.

Thank You for mentioning JustFlights L1011.  I never knew they made complex birds.  I read about it on JustFlight's page and it looks very impressive.

Steve, Lee and Jesse, thank you. Great feedback. Just what I wanted to read after having bought the 7373-200 P3D and the L-1011 P3D(already had their FSX version which I prefer to the also-bought JF version)

Just purchased the 727 and 1011. Je sus, the 727's pitch trim is impossible to control as it used to be. Am i doing something wrong, or is it just mega-hyper-turbo-sensitive and won't stay in place?
